Pitch Perfect Workshop

Pitch Perfect Workshop -- September 26th, 2020

PITCH PERFECT!

Is your book pitch strong enough to attract interest from a top literary agent? Here’s a way to find out!

On September 26th (11am-1pm PST), NY Times bestseller Jonathan Maberry will host Eric Smith, a literary agent and Young Adult author from Philadelphia. This is not to sell to Mr. Smith, but to have an experienced literary agent evaluate your pitch and give crucial feedback so that you can refine your query or verbal pitch. This will get you ready to make that big break!

Eric Smith, agent with P.S. Literary. He’s worked on New York Times bestselling and award-winning books, specializing in Young Adult, genre-blending literary fiction, and non-fiction in memoir, essay collections, cookbooks, and pop history. His clients’ latest books include A Beginning at the End by Mike Chen, Lost at Sea by Erica Boyce, Queen of Coin and Whispers by Helen Corcoran, and the forthcoming Who I Was With Her by Nita Tyndall, Road Out of Winter by Alison Stine, and Surrender Your Sons by Adam Sass.

In his writing life, Eric’s latest novel, Don’t Read the Comments, was published this past January with Inkyard Press. His next two books, You Can Go Your Own Way (Inkyard Press) and the anthology Battle of the Bands co-edited with Lauren Gibaldi (Candlewick) are due out next year.
